These days, smart technology is a must-have for many buyers and homeowners. And there are more and more smart appliances coming out all the time.
KOHLER, one of America’s best-known plumbing and appliance companies, is at the forefront of smart-home technology. Their KOHLER Konnect line, in particular, includes products like voice-activated showers, sinks, and toilets, just to name a few.
Take KOHLER’s Moxie showerhead, for instance. This piece of smart-home tech allows users to play up to seven hours of music, all from their shower.
Other companies have also been stepping up to the plate in terms of smart technology, lately. A client recently told me that their washer and dryer is wifi-enabled, meaning that they receive alerts whenever their laundry is done. They can also control the units remotely from their cell phone.
Similarly, many new construction homes come with wifi-enabled stoves, which can be operated remotely. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to turn off your stove from work every time you suspect you might have left it on?
And speaking of safety features, the Z Control sump pump is another piece of helpful smart home technology that could save you a lot of stress. On top of keeping your home from flooding, as all sump pumps are intended to do, this unit will also alert you to any problems.
All in all, it’s amazing what technology can do these days. If you have any other questions or would like more information, feel free to give us a call or send us an email. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
