Are you ready to test your strength for a great cause? We hope so, because we need your help on September 15 as we compete in the Dulles Plane Pull to raise money for the Special Olympics. Space on our team is limited, so if you want to join us for fundraising fun on the tarmac, you’ll need to send us a text, email, or a video explaining why we should choose you. Of course, helping us pull an 82-ton aircraft isn’t the only way you can show your support. You can also help us reach our donation goal of $2,500 by July 30. You can learn more about joining our team and supporting our donation goal here. To hear our full message about this event, watch this short video.

As you know, we believe in supporting our community and giving back. Our team has volunteered for and contributed to many charities, such as Homestretch, LetsGiveBack.org, and our local schools and swim teams.

Our most recent commitment is to participate in the Out of the Darkness Walk. All proceeds from this event will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This is a hard subject to talk about, but it’s an important issue because sadly, suicide claims more lives than war, murder, and natural disasters combined.

"You’re invited to walk with us."

In the U.S., suicide is the 10th leading cause of death. Every day, approximately 117 Americans take their own lives. That means every 12 minutes, a person dies of suicide.

We want to help, so we’re taking part in the 10th Annual Out of the Darkness Walk on September 16th at 11 a.m. at the Fairfax County Government Center. Check-in time starts at 9 a.m., and the walk is scheduled to end at 1 p.m. You’re invited to walk with us, so if you would like to join our team, click on this registration link.

If can’t make it but would otherwise like to contribute to this important cause, click on the donation link. Our goal is to raise $1,000. You can also visit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s website to find out other ways you can help.

If you have any questions about this upcoming event, feel free to give us a call or send us an email. We’d be happy to help you.
